CHAUNCEY GOSS, SCOTT WAGNER AND DREW BARTLETT have been named to top positions at the South Florida Water Management District. Goss, who will serve as chairman of the district’s board, is founder and managing partner of Goss Practical Solutions. Wagner, who will serve as vice chairman, is president and owner of Wagner Legal. Bartlett, who will serve as the district’s executive director, is deputy secretary for ecosystem restoration at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

COURTNEY COPPOLA has been named director of the Office of Medical Marijuana Use at the Florida Department of Health. Coppola most recently has served as interim director.

KAT BUSTAMANTE has joined the public-relations firm CoreMessage Inc. Bustamante most recently has worked for the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Chamber Foundation.

MCKINLEY LEWIS has joined the firm On 3 Public Relations. Lewis served as deputy communications director for former Gov. Rick Scott.

SHAHRA LAMBERT AND ERIN MOFFET have been named by Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried to federal-affairs positions for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Lambert, who will serve as federal affairs director, has worked as Fried’s regional director for Southwest Florida. Moffet, who will serve as deputy federal affairs director, previously worked as communications director and policy adviser for U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist, D-Fla.

STEVEN HALL has been appointed by Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried as general counsel for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Hall has served as deputy general counsel and acting general counsel for the department.

TIMOTHY STANFIELD has joined the Tallahassee office of the law firm Greenberg Traurig. Stanfield, an attorney, has more than 10 years of lobbying experience.

SUSANA MARTINEZ has joined the board of directors of the Tallahassee-based Foundation for Excellence in Education. Martinez is a former New Mexico governor.

J. EVERETT WILSON has been elected chairman of the Board of Directors of the Health Foundation of South Florida. Wilson is a shareholder at the Polsinelli law firm’s Miami office.

JESSICA PRYCE has been appointed to the advisory board of the National Child Welfare Workforce Institute. Pryce is director of the Florida Institute for Child Welfare at Florida State University.
