JENNIFER CARROLL has been named national spokeswoman for Maggie’s List, which works to elect conservative women to the U.S. House and U.S. Senate. Carroll is a former Florida lieutenant governor.

KENNETH ALBANO has been installed as president of the Florida Police Chiefs Association. Albano is chief of the Temple Terrace Police Department.

STEPHANIE RAY has become chief judge of the 1st District Court of Appeal. Ray was appointed to the Tallahassee-based appeals court in 2011 by former Gov. Rick Scott.

LIZBETH BENACQUISTO has been named honorary chair of Million Women Mentors-Florida. Benacquisto, R-Fort Myers, represents District 27 in the Florida Senate.

DANIEL HARRELL, CECILY PARKER AND ROBERT ALEXANDER ANDRADE have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 1st Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Harrell, of Pensacola, is a shareholder with Clark Partington. Parker, of Pensacola, is an attorney with Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon. Andrade, of Pensacola, is an attorney with Moore, Hill & Westmoreland, P.A.

BRIAN NEWMAN, DANIEL RUSSELL AND KRISTINA OSTERHAUS have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 2nd Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Newman, of Tallahassee, is a shareholder with Pennington Law. Russell, of Tallahassee, is of counsel at Dean Mead & Dunbar. Osterhaus, of Tallahassee, clerked for a federal judge and was an associate attorney at Wiley, Rein and Fielding LLP. 

JOHN KENDRON has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 3rd Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Kendron, of Lake City, is a shareholder with Robinson, Kennon & Kendron, P.A. 

JACOB BROWN, HELEN PEACOCK ROBERSON AND PATRICK JOYCE have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 4th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Brown, of Jacksonville, is a partner with Akerman LLP. Roberson, of Jacksonville, is a partner with Bishop & Mills. Joyce, of Jacksonville, is an attorney with Milam Howard Nicandri Gillam & Renner, P.A. 

ZACHARY MCCORMICK AND MATTHEW FOREMAN have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 5th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. McCormick, of Mount Dora, is the principal of the Law Office of Zach McCormick. Foreman, of Spring Hill, is a partner with Carter Foreman, PLLC.

KARA HARDIN, BRIAN AUNGST AND GORDON OLDHAM have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 6th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Hardin, of Zephyrhills, is the principal of Kara Hardin, P.L. Aungst, of Clearwater, is a shareholder with Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen. Oldham, of St. Petersburg, is the principal of Oldham Law Group.

CHRISTOPHER GREENE AND MARK STANTON have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 7th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Greene, of Ponte Vedra Beach, is a shareholder with Purcell Flanagan Hay & Greene. Stanton, of Palatka, is a certified public accountant and owner of Mark P. Stanton, CPA.

BRIAN KRAMER, RONALD BENDEKOVIC AND ROBERT WOODY have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 8th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.  Kramer, of Gainesville, is an assistant state attorney in the 8th Circuit. Bendekovic, of Newberry, is counsel for Nationwide Insurance. Woody, of Gainesville, is a retired deputy secretary of the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. 

MICHAEL SASSO AND CHRIS POSTERARO have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 9th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Sasso, of Orlando, is a principal of Sasso & Sasso, P.A. Posteraro, of Orlando, is assistant chief counsel at The Walt Disney Company. 

FREDERICK JOHN MURPHY, KRISTA MAHALAK AND ROBERT SWAINE have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 10th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Murphy, of Bartow, is a partner with Boswell & Dunlap, LLP. Mahalak, of Winter Haven, is an attorney at Peterson & Myers, P.A. Swaine, of Sebring, is a partner with Swaine Harris & Wohl, P.A. 

ANTHONY ROLFES, RONALD FILIPKOWSKI AND NANCY CASON have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 12th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.  Rolfes, of Sarasota, is managing partner of Dickinson & Gibbons, P.A. Filipkowski, of Sarasota, is the principal of Ronald Filipkowski, P.A.  Cason, of Sarasota, is managing partner of Syprett, Meshad, Resnick, Lieb, Dumbaugh, Jones, Krotec & Westheimer, P.A.

ANDREW MAYTS, TERESA GAFFNEY AND RYAN SAINZ have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 13th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Mayts, of Tampa, is an attorney at GrayRobinson, P.A. Gaffney, of Tampa, is general counsel of Overstreet Wealth Management, Inc. Sainz, of Tampa, is an attorney at Morgan & Morgan.

TODD BRISTER, JEFFREY CARTER AND A. WAYLON GRAHAM have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 14th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Brister, of Panama City, is the principal of Todd C. Brister. Carter, of Panama City Beach, is the principal of Jeff Carter, P.A. Graham, of Panama City, is the principal of Waylon Graham Law Firm. 

SARAH COHEN, ROBERT HARVEY AND KELLY HAGAR have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 15th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Cohen, of West Palm Beach, is an attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County. Harvey, of West Palm Beach, is a principal of Jenks & Harvey, LLP. Hagar, of Palm Beach Gardens, is owner of Kelly V. Hagar Insurance Agency.

ANTHONY BARROWS has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 16th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Barrows, of Summerland Key, is the principal of the Law Office of Anthony J. Barrows.

VALERIE BARNHART, LEVI WILLIAMS AND JOSEPH VAN DE BOGART have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 17th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Barnhart, of Davie, is a principal of Perera Barnhart, P.A. Williams, of Parkland, is owner of the Law Offices of Levi Williams, P.A. Van de Bogart, of Fort Lauderdale, is the principal of Van de Bogart Law.

R. SCOTT ROBINSON, JAMES DOWDY, ANDREW BALLENTINE AND DANIEL GERBER have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 18th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Robinson, of Viera, is an attorney with Eisenmenger, Robinson, Blaue & Peters. Dowdy, of Winter Springs, is an assistant public defender in the 18th Circuit. Ballentine, of Oviedo, is an attorney with DSK Law Group. Gerber, of Winter Park, is a partner with Rumberger Kirk & Caldwell. 

NITA DENTON, MANUEL FARACH AND JENNIFER WILLIAMSON have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 19th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Denton, of Stuart, is an assistant state attorney in the 19th Circuit. Farach, of Hobe Sound, is a member of McGlinchey Stafford. Williamson, of Stuart, is a shareholder with Crary Buchanan. 

SANJAY KURIAN AND AARON O’BRIEN have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 20th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Kurian, of Fort Myers, is a shareholder with Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. O’Brien, of Fort Myers, is the principal of The O’Brien Law Firm. 

BO GUIDRY has been named president of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. Guidry most recently worked as senior vice president and general manager of Horseshoe Council Bluffs and Harrah’s Council Bluffs Hotel & Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
