CHRISTINE D. GRAVES, EDWARD P. FLEMING AND ADAM B. BRANDON have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 1st District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission. Graves, of Tallahassee, is the managing shareholder of the Tallahassee office of Carlton Fields. Fleming, of Pensacola, is a partner with McDonald Fleming. Brandon, of Jacksonville, is an attorney at Rogers Towers.

Cathy, of Tampa, is chief operating officer and general counsel of Franklin Street Financial Partners of Tampa. Peace, of Tampa, is an associate attorney at Bradley Arant Boult Cumming LLP.

PAUL O. LOPEZ, SUSAN H. APRILL AND ROBERT N. ALLEN JR. have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 4th District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission. Lopez, of Boca Raton, is director and chief operating officer for Tripp Scott. Aprill, of Fort Lauderdale, is a shareholder with Fowler White Burnett, P.A. Allen, of Palm Beach, is the principal of Robert Allen Law.
CRAIG S. DYER AND PAETRA T. BROWNLEE have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 5th District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission. Dyer, of Daytona Beach, is chief assistant public defender of the 7th Judicial Circuit. Brownlee, of Orlando, is a partner with The Brownlee Law Firm.
MICHAEL BILLMEIER has joined the law firm Colodny Fass as a partner in the firm’s Tallahassee office. Billmeier is a former chief attorney for the Florida Senate Banking and Insurance Committee.
DOUG BROXSON has been named by Senate President Bill Galvano as chairman of the Florida Defense Support Task Force. Broxson, R-Gulf Breeze, represents District 1 in the Florida Senate.

BONNIE KING has been re-elected president of Film Florida. King represents the Space Coast Film and Television Office, a committee of the Brevard County Tourist Development Council.
LAINA MORAN has been named executive director of the Republican Party of Sarasota County. Moran has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida.
