WESLEY REYNOLDS has been named president of Surterra Florida, one of the state's medical-marijuana businesses. Reynolds has held a series of positions with Coca-Cola during the past 18 years.

BLANCA RIVERA has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Pharmacy. Rivera, of Miami, is executive director of pharmacy at the University of Miami Health System.

JACK HUMBURG, SHANNON NAZWORTH, HANA ESKRA, MARK KRUSE AND CHERYL LAMBERT have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Task Force on Affordable Housing. Humburg, of St. Petersburg, is executive vice president of Boley Centers, Inc. Nazworth, of St. Augustine, is chief executive officer of Ability Housing, Inc. Eskra, of Miami, is affordable housing developer for Gorman & Company. Kruse, of Tallahassee, is policy coordinator for the governor's Office of Policy and Budget. Lambert, of Inverness, is owner and broker of Only Way Realty Citrus.

SHERRY JORDAN has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Jordan, of Windermere, is a school psychologist for the Orange County public schools.

DAVE HEINE has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Acupuncture. Heine, of Altamonte Springs, is owner of Timeshare Escrow and Title, LLC, and Land Title of Florida, LLC.

ROBERT BENSON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Pilot Commissioners. Benson, of Plantation, is a former partner of Crowe Horwath, LLP.

DANIELLE ALVAREZ has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Technology Advisory Council. Alvarez, of Crawfordville, is cyber security strategist of Hayes e-Government Resources.

MARK LANDER has been appointed administrator for the Florida Department of Health in Marion County. Lander has served since late 2012 as administrator for the Department of Health in Columbia and Hamilton counties.

STEVEN WELLINS AND ANDREW KLEIN have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners. Wellins, of Fort Lauderdale, is senior vice president of investments for Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC. Klein, of Parkland, is managing attorney at Klein Law Group, PLLC.

DANNY ALVAREZ, VINCENT J. CASSIDY AND SHAUN OXTAL have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority. Alvarez, of Seffner, is a managing member at The Alvarez Legal Group. Cassidy, of Tampa, is chief executive officer of Majesty Title Services, LLC. Oxtal, of Tampa, is director of Capright.

KEITH R. WARD, BRUCE BUTLER JR., TOM MORRIS AND AMY POPE WELLS have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Clay County Development Authority. Ward, of Orange Park, is president of Thomas May Construction Company. Butler, of Green Cove Springs, is a federal law enforcement officer. Morris, of Middleburg, is executive director of the Clay County Utility Authority. Wells, of Green Cove Springs, is owner of Link Staffing Services and president of Tire Diva, Inc. 

NITA FICO has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Madison County Health and Hospital Board. Fico, of Madison, is a part-time nurse practitioner for the Florida Department of Health.
