REYNOLDS HENDERSON has been appointed by Senate President Bill Galvano, R-Bradenton, to the Citizens Property Insurance Corp. Board of Governors. Henderson, who lives in Walton County, is a principal owner of Continental Pacific, LLC, a real estate investment and development company.

KEVIN CAIRNS AND SHAILESH GUPTA have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Florida Board of Medicine. Cairns, of Fort Lauderdale, is owner and attending physician at Florida Spine Specialists. Gupta, of Coral Springs, is an ophthalmologist who is the founder and CEO of Specialty Retina Center.

GLENTON GILZEAN has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Florida Commission on Ethics. Gilzean, of Orlando, is president and chief executive officer of the Central Florida Urban League.

DANIEL DAVIS AND RONALD HOWSE have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board. Davis, of Jacksonville, is president and chief executive officer of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and previously served in the Florida House. Howse, of Cocoa, is owner and chief executive officer of Real Deal Development Group.

MATT TERRY has been appointed by Senate President Bill Galvano, R-Bradenton, to the Board of Directors of Triumph Gulf Coast, Inc. Terry, of Port St. Joe, is owner of Appraisal Group of North Florida, LLC.

JAMES SULLIVAN has been appointed by Senate President Bill Galvano, R-Bradenton, to the Florida Red Tide Mitigation and Technology Development Initiative Advisory Council. Sullivan is executive director of Florida Atlantic University’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute.

NICOLA LIQUORI has been appointed executive director of the Florida Turnpike Enterprise. Liquori previously served as deputy executive director and chief financial officer for Florida’s Turnpike before serving as chief executive officer of SunRail.

ALEX TERENTEV, MARCO CARRASCO, KATHY GALLIN AND ANITA FAULMANN have been elected to leadership positions with the Florida Health Care Association. Terentev, who will serve as president, is director of operations at Gulf Coast Health Care. Carrasco, who will serve as senior vice president, is administrator at West Gables Health Care Center. Gallin, who will serve as secretary, is vice president of legislative affairs at Signature HealthCare. Faulmann, who will serve as treasurer, is regional vice president of operations at Consulate Health Care.

JIM AYOTTE, LONNY POWELL, FRAN GILBERT AND JAIME CALDWELL have been installed as officers of the Florida Society of Association Executives. Ayotte, who was installed as chairman, is executive director of the Florida Manufactured Housing Association. Powell, the chairman-elect, is CEO and executive vice president of the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association. Gilbert, the treasurer, is president and CEO of Starfish Management Solutions. Caldwell, the secretary, is president of the South Florida Hospital & Healthcare Association.

J. BRADY NEPPLE has been named executive director of the Transportation and Expressway Authority Membership of Florida. Nepple has served as the association’s chief operating officer.

TERRI BROWN has been appointed Florida State University chief of police. Brown has served as deputy chief of police since 2018.

BRYCE SARTORY has been hired as director of government affairs and membership development for AGC Florida East Coast Chapter. Sartory previously worked as government affairs director for the Realtors of the Palm Beaches & Greater Fort Lauderdale.

JOHN DAVIS has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Valencia College Board of Trustees. Davis, of Orlando, is executive vice president of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce.

PALMER CLARKSON has been reappointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Jacksonville Port Authority. Clarkson is chief executive officer of Bridgestone HosePower, LLC.
