MONICA GORDO AND FLEUR LOBREE have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis as judges on the 3rd District Court of Appeal. Gordo has served as a Miami-Dade County circuit judge since 2010. Lobree is a legal adviser and assistant state attorney for the State Attorney’s Office in the 11th Judicial Circuit.

JAYER WILLIAMSON has been named a 2019 “emerging leader” by the national Republican group GOPAC. Williamson, R-Pace, represents parts of Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties in the Florida House.

RALPH YODER has been named executive director of the Florida Transportation Commission. Yoder most recently served as superintendent of the Calhoun County school district.

ABIGAIL L. VAIL has been named as chief of staff at the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. Vail most recently has worked as a senior external affairs specialist at the State Board of Administration.

MARION HOFFMAN has been named vice president of strategic development for Enterprise Florida. Hoffman previously served as associate vice president for government relations at the University of Florida.

SHARON FRANKLIN has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis as a judge in the 10th Judicial Circuit, which is made up of Hardee, Highlands and Polk counties. Franklin has served as a Polk County judge since 2015.

BRIAN WELKE AND DANNY MOSLEY have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis as judges in the 5th Judicial Circuit, which is made up of Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion and Sumter counties. Welke has served as a Lake County judge since 2016. Mosley, is an assistant state attorney in the 5th Circuit. 

LISA PETH has been named Municipal Victory Program director for the Florida Democratic Party. Peth joined the party in November 2017 as the Northeast Florida community engagement director.

PHIL LEARY has been named state director in Florida for the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development. Leary is former principal of Leary Governmental Affairs Consultants.

ASHLEY COONE has been reappointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustees. Coone, of Arcadia, is president of Ashley Coone Consulting.

ANTONIO JEFFERSON has been named interim president of the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce. Jefferson was appointed city manager of Gretna in 2006 and has held numerous law-enforcement positions.

ERIN HENDRIX has been promoted to partner at the consulting firm LSN Partners, LLC. Hendrix joined the firm in 2009 and previously worked in management positions in the hospitality industry.
