ROGER STEVENS has been installed as chairman of the LeadingAge Florida Board of Trustees. Stevens is chief executive officer of Westminster Communities of Florida.

CHIP MERRIAM has been elected president of the Florida Municipal Electric Association. Merriam is vice president of legislative, regulatory and compliance for the Orlando Utilities Commission.

LOURDES SIMON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as a judge in the 11th Judicial Circuit. Simon, of Miami, is a Miami-Dade County judge.

CRESTON LEIFRIED has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Housing Finance Corporation. Leifried, of Chuluota, is vice president of Coastal Reconstruction Group, Inc. 

JERRY PATE AND TED EVERETT have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Northwest Florida Water Management District Governing Board. Pate, of Pensacola, is owner and chief executive officer of Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation, Inc. Everett, of Chipley, is executive director of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.

KATHERINE “KATIE” COLE has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the St. Petersburg College Board of Trustees. Cole, of Belleair, is an attorney with Hill Ward Henderson, PA.

ALAN LANDMAN has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Eastern Florida State College Board of Trustees. Landman, of Indialantic, is an attorney at Alan Landman, P.A.

GARY PYOTT has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Regulatory Council of Community Association Managers. Pyott, of Aventura, is the president of Association 1st, LLC.

RUSSELL BUCK AND GREGORY CLARY have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Clay County Development Authority. Buck, of Middleburg, is regional vice president of Vystar Credit Union. Clary, of Middleburg, is president of Clary & Associates.

MICHAEL VALLENCOURT has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Clay County Utility Authority. Vallencourt, of Orange Park, is chairman of the board for Vallencourt Construction Co. Inc.
