FRANK WALKER III has been named vice president of government affairs for the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Walker most recently served as chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Daniel Webster, R-Fla.

SHEELA VANHOOSE has been named director of government affairs and public policy for Charter Schools USA. VanHoose has served as director of legislative affairs for the Broward County public schools.

JEFF BRANCH has been named political director of Democratic Congressman Patrick Murphy's U.S. Senate campaign. Branch has served the past two years as deputy political director at the Florida Democratic Party.

CARLO ZAMPOGNA has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind Board of Trustees. Zampogna, of Naples, is an attorney at Carlo F. Zampogna PA.

DOUGLAS HARRISON AND KAREN HARRINGTON have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the South Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners. Harrison, of Pembroke Pines, is an assistant city attorney for the city of Miami. Harrington, of Dania Beach, is the owner of Rickey's Restaurants in Broward County.

TIFFANY COLLINS has been appointed as health officer for the Florida Department of Health in Okeechobee County. Collins has served since 2009 as the administrative services director and business manager for the Florida Department of Health in Okeechobee County.

DAVID GENSON AND CYNTHIA BUCKLEY have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Collier County Housing Authority. Genson, of Naples, is vice president of engineering at Barron Collier Companies. Buckley, of Naples, is a volunteer for Lee County Parks and Recreation.
