THOMAS H. PARKER has joined the Florida Health Care Association as director of reimbursement. Parker worked the past eight years for the state Agency for Health Care Administration, most recently overseeing the Medicaid nursing-home rate setting program.

ROBERT R. WHEELER has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as a judge in the 2nd Judicial Circuit, which includes Leon, Jefferson, Wakulla, Gadsden, Liberty and Franklin counties. Wheeler, of Tallahassee, has served as a Leon County judge since 2010.

THOMAS V. DANNHEISSER AND DARLENE F. DICKEY have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as judges in the 1st Judicial Circuit, which includes Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. Dannheisser, of Pensacola, has served as an Escambia County judge since 2010. Dickey, of Molino, has served as an Escambia County judge since 2012.

JON COKER, ALTON WILLIAMS JR., ANN "SHARON" BENOIT AND LLOYD "GARY" WRIGHT have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the North Florida Community College District Board of Trustees. Coker, of Perry, is president of J. Travis Coker Consulting Inc. Williams, of Live Oak, is a former Suwannee County sheriff. Benoit, of Greenville, is former international director for the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission. Wright, of Monticello, is a former president and chief executive officer of Farmers and Merchants Bank.

ANDREW FLEENER, JOEL PAUL JR., DARRIN WALL AND THOMAS "TOMMY" LASSMANN have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Chipola College District Board of Trustees. Fleener, of Chipley, is owner of Fleener Cleaner Inc. Paul, of Holmes, is executive director of Tri County Community Council Inc. Wall, of Chipley, is an office manager with Gulf Power Co. Lassmann, of Marianna, is a commercial banker with PeoplesSouth Bank.

JONATHAN ALEX SETZER AND SCOTT HOWAT have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Seminole State College District Board of Trustees. Setzer, of Lake Mary, is a partner at Southern Strategy Group in Orlando. Howat, of Winter Park, is a senior executive director for the Orange County school district.

MICHAEL PUTO has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Keys Community College District Board of Trustees. Puto, of Marathon, is the Marathon city manager.

SHERIF ASSAL, LOUIS SOLA AND DAVID WILKINS have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Pilot Commissioners. Assal, of Miramar, is senior vice president of American Guard Services Inc and president of United Stevedoring of America Inc. Sola, of Miami, is chief executive officer of Evermarine. Wilkins, of Tallahassee, is founder of LifeConnectors and a former secretary of the Florida Department of Children and Families.

MARY MARTINASEK AND THERESA GRAHAM have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Tobacco Education and Use Prevention Council. Martinasek, of Tampa, is a public health professor at the University of Tampa. Graham, of Jacksonville, is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty.

TERESA DAVLANTES AND FRANK MACKESY have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority. Davlantes, of Jacksonville, is executive director of the EPIC Program at Jacksonville University. Mackesy, of Jacksonville, is director of public safety and chief of police at the University of North Florida.

JACLYN WHIDDON, ALAN "KURT" ARDAMAN AND JOHN MURPHY have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the West Orange Healthcare District. Whiddon, of Oakland, is an orthodontic marketing consultant and owner of The Whiddon Group, LLC. Ardaman, of Gotha, is an attorney with Fishback Dominick and city attorney for Winter Garden, Winter Park, DeBary, and Longwood. Murphy, of Winter Garden, is chief financial officer for OneBlood, Inc.

WILLIAM "BILL" PRESTON, MARY E. SPENCER AND HAROLD "PAT" CARD have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Southeast Volusia Hospital District. Preston, of New Smyrna Beach, is an attorney and owner of The Preston Law Firm. Spencer, of New Smyrna Beach, is director of continuous care for VITAS Healthcare. Card, of Edgewater, is a retired corporate officer for Columbus Life Insurance.

EDWARD CONNOR AND CARL "RICK" LENTZ III have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Halifax Hospital Medical Center Board of Commissioners. Connor, of Ormond Beach, is retired president of Golforms, Inc. Lentz, of Daytona Beach Shores, is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and owner of Lentz Plastic Surgery.

RICHARD TOPPINO has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority. Toppino, of Key West, is treasurer of Charley Toppino and Sons Inc and vice president of Monroe Concrete Products Inc.

TUESDAY TRITT has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Hendry County Hospital Authority. Tritt, of LaBelle, is a senior vice president at First Bank.

ISABEL COSIO CARBALLO has been named executive director of the South Florida Regional Council. Carballo previously served as the council's director of public affairs.
