Court ceremony set for Luck, Muniz

The Florida Supreme Court will hold a joint investiture ceremony in September for justices Robert Luck and Carlos Muniz, who were appointed to the court early this year by Gov. Ron DeSantis. Investiture ceremonies are formal events that typically occur several months after justices take office. The event for Luck and Muniz is scheduled to be held Sept. 24 in the Supreme Court courtroom, according to a news release Thursday. An investiture ceremony is scheduled at 3 p.m. Friday for Justice Barbara Lagoa.
