THE CAPITAL, TALLAHASSEE, SEPTEMBER 23, 2016…. Policymakers and business leaders will converge on Orlando during the coming week to discuss economic-development issues. Enterprise Florida will hold meetings, and the Florida Chamber Foundation will hold a "Future of Florida Forum," which is expected to draw Gov. Rick Scott and state Cabinet members.

CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE OPENS CAMPAIGN OFFICES: Democrat Stephanie Murphy, who is running in Central Florida's Congressional District 7, will host events to open campaign offices. (Sunday, 3 p.m., 1001 North Orange Ave., Orlando. Also, 6 p.m., 1810 South French Ave., Sanford.)

TRAUMA CARE AT ISSUE: The Florida Department of Health is scheduled to hold a hearing on proposed rules related to the approval of new trauma centers. (Monday, 9 a.m., 4025 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee.)
