But for the next week, state government and politics will be relatively quiet as lawmakers, lobbyists and the rest of the players celebrate Thanksgiving. The Florida Public Service Commission could see the most action, as it takes up a controversial energy-efficiency issue Tuesday.

IMMIGRANT ER CARE AT ISSUE: Administrative Law Judge John D.C. Newton is scheduled to start hearing arguments in a dispute between hospitals and the state Agency for Health Care Administration about Medicaid payments for emergency care provided to undocumented immigrants.
