BY THE NEWS SERVICE OF FLORIDA

Gov. Rick Scott's "Let's Get to Work" political committee collected $70,100 during the first two weeks of May, with $50,000 coming from a PAC tied to prison contractor The Geo Group, Inc., according to the Scott committee's website. Let's Get to Work also received a combined total of $15,000 from Motorola Solutions, Inc. and Motorola Solutions CEO Gregory Brown. Let's Get to Work has played a critical role in Scott's election campaigns and in continuing to promote his political agenda. State candidates and committees are required to file updated finance reports with the Florida Division of Elections by June 10, but Let's Get to Work also posts information on its website. Also, Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam's "Florida Grown" political committee raised $30,050 from May 1 to May 17, according to its website.
