$1 billion. House Speaker Steve Crisafulli told reporters that the House would try to meet Gov. Scott's goal of $1 billion in tax cuts this legislative session. Crisafulli said lawmakers might prefer to reach the $1 billion mark through one-time cuts, rather than recurring cuts that the governor favors.
