ELIZABETH BOYD has been named state deputy chief financial officer. Boyd has served as legislative affairs director for the Florida Department of Financial Services.

ROSENE JOHNSON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Valencia College Board of Trustees. Johnson, of Orlando, is executive director of the Conductive Education Center of Orlando.

MARIO BAILEY has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the South Florida Regional Planning Council. Bailey, of Miami, is a senior government relations consultant at Becker & Poliakoff.

JANET SEVERT, REBECCA WITONSKY, ANA LAURA DOS SANTOS LARA, VICTORIA AGUILAR, ROBERT CAMPBELL, MICHAEL ADAMUS AND AMANDA BROWN have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Rehabilitation Council. Severt, of Edgewater, is executive director at New Horizons Service Dogs. Witonsky, of Boca Raton, is an advocate for persons with disabilities. Ana Laura dos Santos Lara, of Miami, is a transition manager at Parent to Parent of Miami, Inc. Aguilar, of Lehigh Acres, is a vocational rehabilitation counselor at the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Campbell, of Jacksonville, is a board member of CareerSource Florida. Adamus, of Orlando, is a representative for persons with disabilities. Brown, of Gainesville, is associate director of disability resource at the University of Florida.

JENNIFER LALANI, ALAN SMITH, JAMES ZENEL, JOHN BAILEY, HOLLY NEAL MOREAU, CHRISTOPHER FULLER, DEBORAH SMITH, HELENE JACOBSON, MICHAEL DIAZ AND JEFRY BIEHLER have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Medicaid Pharmaceutical and Therapeutics Committee. Lalani, of Windermere, is a district pharmacy manager for CVS Pharmacy. Alan Smith, of Tampa, is senior medical director for WellCare Health Plans, Inc. Zenel, of Trinity, is a physician at the James A. Haley VA Hospital. Bailey, of Tallahassee, is a psychiatrist at John Bailey, D.O., LLC. Moreau, of Miramar, is director of pharmacy for Prestige Health Choice. Fuller, of Gainesville, is a former pharmacy manager for Publix and Shands Hospital. Deborah Smith, of Tampa, is director of pharmacy for UnitedHealthcare Community. Jacobson, of Coconut Creek, is an operations specialist for Optum. Diaz, of St. Petersburg, is a medical oncologist and hematologist for Florida Cancer Specialists. Biehler, of Coral Gables, is chair of pediatrics for the Florida International University College of Medicine. 
 
YOSEF WEINSTOCK AND PINCHAS TAYLOR have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Faith-Based and Community-Based Advisory Council. Weinstock, of Hollywood, is senior rabbi at Young Israel of Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale. Taylor, of Plantation, is a rabbi at the Chabad of Plantation.

WILLIAM SNYDER, A.J. “TONY” SMITH AND ROBERT HICKS have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Violent Crime and Drug Control Council. Snyder, of Stuart, is the Martin County sheriff. Smith, of Apalachicola, is the Franklin County sheriff. Hicks, of Leesburg, is the Leesburg police chief.

DAVID HANKLA, REBECCA BRAGG, SKIP LYSHON AND ROBERT SPAETH have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Boating Advisory Council. Hankla, of St. Augustine, is a self-employed environmental and wildlife conservation consultant. Bragg, of Arcadia, is owner of Canoe Outpost-Peace River, Inc. Lyshon, of Fort Pierce, is sales director at Maverick Boat Group. Spaeth, of Madeira Beach, previously owned Madeira Beach Seafood. 

JAMIE BULLER AND SUSAN GILLESPY have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. Buller, of Jacksonville, is director of advance care planning at Community Hospice and Palliative Care. Gillespy, of Atlantic Beach, is a self-employed marriage and family therapist.

REBECCA HARTY has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 3. Harty, of Gainesville, is business manager at the University of Florida's Department of Occupational Therapy. 

CHRISTINE CIECIERSKI AND THUY DANG have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 5. Ciecierski, of Treasure Island, is an office assistant at Edward Jones Investing. Dang, of Largo, is an office manager for a medical practice.

SUSAN MOORE has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 7. Moore, of Orlando, is an advocate for persons with disabilities.

LUZ MERY MONTES has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 9. Montes, of Boynton Beach, is senior technical accounting manager for Phoenix Tower International.

MARTY NORRIS, BRIANA ROPER AND SUSAN KRINSKY have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 10. Norris, of Lighthouse Point, is a self-employed paralegal. Roper, of Sunrise, is a customer service representative with UnitedHealthcare. Krinsky, of Pembroke Pines, is a retired health-care professional.

SUZANNE LANE has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 15. Lane, of Port St. Lucie, is director of family star at the Family Network on Disabilities.

MARK ROSENBERG has been appointed to the U.S. Department of Labor's Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion. Rosenberg is the president of Florida International University
