BOB GRAMMIG has been elected 2017-2018 chairman of the Florida Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Grammig is a partner at Holland & Knight.

DAN NEWMAN has joined the governmental-affairs firm Capital City Consulting. Newman most recently worked as caucus director for Florida House Democratic campaigns at the Florida Democratic Party.

MARK DAVID WILSON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as a Monroe County judge. Wilson, of Key West, is a special assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida and chief assistant state attorney in the 16th Judicial Circuit.

GORDON CHARLES MURRAY SR. has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as a Miami-Dade County judge. Murray, of Miami, is a general magistrate and child support hearing officer in the 11th Judicial Circuit.

SARAH DOUGHERTY has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Daytona State College Board of Trustees. Dougherty, of Edgewater, is co-owner of Dougherty Manufacturing.

RANDALL REID has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Hillsborough Community College District Board of Trustees. Reid, of Tampa, is vice president of business development for J.E. Dunn Construction.

IRIS GONZALEZ has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Virtual School Board of Trustees. Gonzalez, of Tierra Verde, is senior manager of state government affairs at Charter Communications.

RICHARD E. FEE has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the 2nd District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission. Fee, of Tampa, is managing partner at Fee & Jeffries, P.A.

PAETRA BROWNLEE has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the 5th District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission. Brownlee, of Winter Park, is an attorney with Charles M. Greene, P.A.

PETER PENROD has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the 2nd Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Penrod, of Tallahassee, is general counsel at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.

LEE L. HAAS has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the 6th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Haas, of Clearwater, is a shareholder at Haas & Castillo, P.A.

DAVID RICH has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Gulf County Commission. Rich, of Wewahitchka, is store manager of Rich's IGA Supermarket.

PATRICK FARRELL AND STEVE NEWMAN have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Port St. Joe Port Authority. Farrell, of Port St. Joe, is owner of Gulf Coast Property Services. Newman, of Port St. Joe, is owner of Big Fish Construction, LLC.
