ANDRE PEREZ has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Medicine. Perez, of Miami, is chief executive officer of EB5 Visa Funds, LLC.

SONYA ROOD AND GARY NICKLAUS have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Rood lives in St. Augustine, while Nicklaus lives in Jupiter.

RICHARD MONTGOMERY, JONATHAN HICKMAN, JEENU PHILIP AND MARK MIKHAEL have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Pharmacy. Montgomery, of Orlando, is a pharmacist for Adventist Health System. Hickman, of Tallahassee, is a regional clinical account director for AstraZeneca. Philip, of Saint Johns, is a senior manager of pharmacy affairs with Walgreens. Mikhael, of Orlando, is vice president of operations for ProHealth Pharmacy Services.

MICHAEL YORMARK has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida State Boxing Commission. Yormark, of Boca Raton, is president and chief of branding and strategy at Roc Nation LLC.

BRENDAN MCPHILLIPS has been named campaign manager for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum. McPhillips most recently served as political director for Hillary for America in Pennsylvania.

RYAN NEVES AND NICHOLAS POPP have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Film and Entertainment Advisory Council. Neves, of Panama City, is a partner with Neves Media Productions, LLC. Popp, of St. Augustine, is associate general counsel of Bankers Financial Corporation. 

RAY DUBUQUE has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Housing Finance Corporation. Dubuque, of Panama City, is a former regional director for AT&T.

ROBERT GIDEL has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Virtual School Board of Trustees. Gidel, of Windermere, is a managing partner at Liberty Capital Advisors.

MICHAEL DENEVE, MERVIN DALE AND STANLEY WARDEN have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Professional Geologists. DeNeve lives in Bartow, Dale lives in Fort White, and Warden lives in Tallahassee.

NANCY GREGOIRE has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners. Gregoire, of Coral Springs, is a partner at Birnbaum, Lippman & Gregoire, PLLC.

LEE HANSEN has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Escambia County School Board. Hansen, of Pensacola, is founder of the Global Corner International Learning Center. 

ALFRED “MAC” MCNEILL has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as interim sheriff of Jefferson County. McNeill served with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement as supervisor of protection detail for Scott, former Gov. Charlie Crist and former Gov. Jeb Bush.

PHYLLIS CHOY has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Palm Beach County Housing Authority. Choy, of Jupiter, is a Realtor for Water Pointe Realty Group.

TRENT MORGAN AND TOD SCHWINGEL have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Highlands County Housing Authority. Morgan, of Sebring, is a pastor at Sebring First Assembly of God. Schwingel, of Sebring, is senior minister at Sebring Christian Church. 

AMY LOCKHART has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Seminole State College of Florida Board of Trustees. Lockhart, of Sanford, chairs the Seminole County School Board.
