CHRIS BLACKMON has been named troop commander for the Florida Highway Patrol's Troop H, which is headquartered in Tallahassee and covers Leon, Gadsden, Franklin, Liberty, Wakulla, Jefferson, Madison and Taylor Counties. Blackmon most recently served as district commander of Troop K for the Orlando District.

MARIO GARZA has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Commission on Human Relations. Garza, of Tampa, served in the United States Air Force from 1977 until 2007.

BRANDON YOUNG has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Chipola College Board of Trustees. Young, of Bonifay, is the Holmes County attorney.

SUZANNE NORRIS has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Gateway College Board of Trustees. Norris, of Lake City, is market president of Ameris Bank.

RICHARD HUOT, KRIS-TENA ALBERS, LEIGH-ANN CUDDY, PETER DEBELIUS AND LEE CHAYKIN have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Correctional Medical Authority. Huot, of Vero Beach, is chief executive officer of Beachside Dental Consultants, Inc. Albers, of Tallahassee, is program director of the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence. Cuddy, of St. Cloud, is a unit supervisor for Osceola County Corrections. Debelius, of Crawfordville, is a psychiatrist for Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. Chaykin, of Davie, is chief executive officer at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.

RONALD LUCCHINO has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Alzheimer's Disease Advisory Committee. Lucchino, of Longboat Key, is an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida.

ZACH COLLIER AND RICK KIRACOFE have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Employee Leasing Companies. Collier, of Orlando, is chief executive officer of Lightsource HR Holdings. Kiracofe, of Tierra Verde, is president of Innovative Employer Solutions, Inc.

BOB PAGE has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority. Page, of Alachua, is market president of Harbor Community Bank.

DAPHNE CAMPBELL has been appointed chair of the Haitian Temporary Relief Task Force. Campbell, D-Miami, represents District 38 in the Florida Senate.

STEPHANIE OWENS has been named a lobbyist for the League of Women Voters of Florida. Owens is the principal of Dolphin Strategies LLC.
