KIM BERFIELD has been named vice president of government and community affairs for Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. Berfield is a former state House member from Pinellas County and a former deputy secretary of the Florida Department of Health.

JONATHAN NURSE has been named director of federal relations for Florida State University. Nurse most recently has served as director of government relations for the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

FRANK SHEPHERD has joined the law firm GrayRobinson. Shepherd, who will work in the firm's Miami office, is a former judge on the 3rd District Court of Appeal.

JOSE FELIX DIAZ, JEANETTE NUNEZ, CHRIS SPROWLS, TOM LEE AND DARRYL ROUSON have been appointed by House Speaker Richard Corcoran to the Florida Constitution Revision Commission. Diaz, R-Miami, represents District 116 in the Florida House. Nunez, R-Miami, represents District 119 in the Florida House. Sprowls, R-Palm Harbor, represents District 65 in the Florida House. Lee, R-Thonotosassa, represents District 20 in the Florida Senate. Rouson, D-St. Petersburg, represents District 19 in the Florida Senate.

CHRIS NOCCO has been appointed by House Speaker Richard Corcoran to the Florida Constitution Revision Commission. Nocco is the Pasco County sheriff.

ERIKA DONALDS has been appointed by House Speaker Richard Corcoran to the Florida Constitution Revision Commission. Donalds is chief financial officer/chief compliance officer and partner at Dalton, Greiner, Hartman, Maher & Co., LLC and serves on the Collier County School Board.

RICH NEWSOME has been appointed by House Speaker Richard Corcoran to the Florida Constitution Revision Commission. Newsome, of Orlando, is senior partner of the Newsome Melton law firm.

JOHN STEMBERGER has been appointed by House Speaker Richard Corcoran to the Florida Constitution Revision Commission. Stemberger is an attorney who has served as president of the Florida Family Policy Council since 2005.

GENARO "CHIP" IGLESIAS has been named managing partner of the Miami office of Ballard Partners. Iglesias joined Ballard Partners in 2014 after holding positions including deputy mayor and chief of staff of Miami-Dade County.

MICHAEL CALHOUN has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Defense Support Task Force. Calhoun is adjutant general of the Florida National Guard.

CHARLES HENRY has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Wekiva River Basin Commission. Henry, of Bradenton, is a health officer for the Department of Health in Sarasota.

HUGH FRED DIETRICH, RANSOM HARTMAN AND PAMELA KISER-BURCH have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Auctioneers. Dietrich, of Orlando, is an auctioneer and owner of Dietrich and Associates. Hartman, of Jensen Beach, is an auctioneer and owner of Hartman Auction Group. Kiser-Burch, of Tallahassee, is director of human resources for Reliant Solutions.
