GEORGE LEVESQUE AND KATIE FLURY have joined the GrayRobinson law firm. Levesque most recently served as general counsel of the Florida Senate and previously was general counsel for the Florida House. Flury, who will work as a government consultant, most recently served as chief legislative aide to Rep. Jason Brodeur, R-Sanford.

DANIEL NORDBY, NILDA PEDROSA AND ISRAEL REYES have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Supreme Court Judicial Nominating Commission. Nordby, of Tallahassee, is an attorney and partner at Shutts & Bowen, LLP. Pedrosa, of Pinecrest, is deputy chief of staff for Attorney General Pam Bondi. Reyes, of Coral Gables, is managing partner and president of The Reyes Law Firm, P.A. 

CHERYL FLOOD has been appointed by Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam as executive director of the Florida State Fair. Flood has served as interim director during the past six months.

COLIN MARK ROOPNARINE has joined the law firm Berger Singerman. Roopnarine most recently worked as general counsel at the Florida Office of Financial Regulation.

HEATHER COX ROSENBERG has been appointed children's ombudsman at the Florida Department of Children and Families. Rosenberg has served as the president of the Tallahassee Area Foster and Adoptive Parent Association since September 2014.

JENNIFER HILAL has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as a Broward County judge. Hilal, of Plantation, has been an assistant state attorney in the 17th Judicial Circuit since 2008.

VIVIAN MYRTETUS has been named regional manager for the Eastern United States for Pondera Solutions. Myrtetus' previous positions have included chief of staff of the Florida Department of Children and Families.

ROBERT ANDERSON has been installed as president of the National Adult Protective Services Association. Anderson is director of adult protective services for the Florida Department of Children and Families.

FRANK LEPORE has been named health officer for the Florida Department of Health in Charlotte County. Lepore, a podiatric surgeon, has worked in private practice in Middle Village, N.Y.

JODY YOUNG has been named communications and external affairs director for the health-care advocacy group Florida CHAIN. Young most recently has served as development and marketing director for Young Singers of the Palm Beaches.
