HEATHER MANSO, GRETCHEN PICOTTE AND RICK PORTER has been named by Chairman Blaise Ingoglia to finance positions with the Republican Party of Florida. Manso, who will be finance director, most recently worked for Taylor Strategies and previously worked in the Senate Majority Office. Picotte and Porter, who will serve as finance consultants, are with the firm Political Capital LLC.

ERIC CHASE ROBERSON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as a Duval County judge. Roberson, of Jacksonville, is a sole practitioner at Eric C. Roberson, P.A.

TREVOR SMITH has been appointed by Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam as division director of plant industry at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Smith has most recently served as the department's bureau chief of methods, development and biological control.

HAZEL SELLERS, DONNA HOWERTON, ELVIE POSEY, ROBERT "JEFF" KINCART AND MARY YEARGAN have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Central Florida Regional Planning Council. Sellers, of Bartow, is a Polk County School Board member. Howerton, of Sebring, is vice president of South Ridge Abstract. Posey, of Okeechobee, is a retired dairy farmer. Kincart, of Lakeland, is president of Kincart Construction Company and vice president of American Compliance Technologies. Yeargan, of Brandon, is director of district management for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

JAMES E. MICHALIK has been named executive director of the Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions. Michalik has previously served as a family-court judge and as executive director of the Family Resource Center in Gorham, Colebrook, Littleton and Lancaster, N.H.

ROBERT MCMILLAN has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Early Learning Coalition of Florida's Heartland. McMillan, of Port Charlotte, is a retired lawyer.

JOHN BURNS has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Early Learning Coalition of Florida's Gateway. Burns, of Lake City, is an agent with State Farm.

ELIZABETH A. HILL has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 3. Hill, of Gainesville, is owner of Elizabeth A. Hill D.D.S. PA.

AMANDA CASWELL, KAREN PREWITT AND MOIRA ROSSI have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 4. Caswell, of St. Augustine, is an advocacy specialist for The Arc Jacksonville. Prewitt, of Jacksonville, is family-outreach coordinator for the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville. Rossi, of Jacksonville, is an advocate for persons with disabilities.

COLLEEN WHITMAN has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 9. Whitman, of Boca Raton, is an advocate for persons with disabilities.

BETTY WATKINS has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 10. Watkins, of Pompano Beach, is an advocate for persons with disabilities.

JEFFREY NALLY has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Family Care Council, Area 13. Nally, of Bushnell, is a facility technician for Sumter Electric Cooperative.

ALTHEA HARGROVE AND JUAN BERRONES have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Highlands County Housing Authority. Hargrove, of Sebring, is a retired correctional officer. Berrones, of Sebring, is a self employed contractor.

WILLIAM MCDANIEL has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Collier County Housing Authority. McDaniel is president of Big Island Excavating Inc.
