BELVIN PERRY JR. has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida A&M University Board of Trustees. Perry, of Orlando, is an attorney with Morgan and Morgan PA and previously served as chief judge in the 9th Judicial Circuit.

WILFREDO GONZALEZ, KEVIN HYDE AND STEPHEN JOOST have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the University of North Florida Board of Trustees. Gonzalez, of Jacksonville, is district director of the United States Small Business Administration. Hyde, of Jacksonville, is a partner with Foley and Lardner, LLP. Joost, of Jacksonville, is a partner in Firehouse Subs.

MICHAEL CARRERE, JAMES STIKELEATHER AND JOHN RAMIL have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the University of South Florida Board of Trustees. Carrere, of Tampa, is former chief executive officer of Lykes Brothers Inc. Stikeleather, of Tampa, is chief innovation officer of Dell Inc. Ramil, of Tampa, is president and chief executive officer of TECO Energy Inc.

MALCOLM DORMAN AND ABDOL MOABERY have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees. Dorman, of West Palm Beach, is a cardiovascular surgeon and a clinical professor at Nova Southeastern University. Moabery, of Delray Beach, is founder, president and chief executive officer of GA Telesis LLC. 
 
DARLEEN CORS, CAROL MOORE AND RUSSELL PRIDDY have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustees. Cors, of Naples, is president of the Naples Community Church Board of Trustees. Moore, of Naples, is co-founder and former chairman and director of the Royal Palm Academy. Priddy, of Immokalee, is a co-manager with JB Ranch.
 
GREG BRITTON, BOB SIRES AND JAY PATEL have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the University of West Florida Board of Trustees. Britton, of Mary Esther, is chief executive officer of Fort Walton Machining. Sires, of Crestview, is chief executive officer and founder of Bay State Cable Ties. Patel, of Pensacola, is chief executive officer of LHS Companies.

PHILIP DUR, HENRY MCCANCE, CLIFFORD "CLIFF" OTTO AND MARK BOSTICK were appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Polytechnic University Board of Trustees. Dur, of Destin, retired in 2005 as a vice president of the Northrop Grumman Corp. and president of Northrop Grumman Ship Systems and previously served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1995. McCance, of Lake Wales, is former chief executive officer of Greylock Partners. Otto, of Lakeland, is chief executive officer of Saddle Creek Logistics Services. Bostick, of Lake Wales, is president of Comcar Industries. 

MARC SARNOFF has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida International University Board of Trustees. Sarnoff, of Miami, is an attorney with Shutts and Bowen. 

JOSIE LEGIDO CORREA has been named executive director of the Florida Grocers Association, a division of the Florida Retail Federation. Correa has served as the retail federation's South Florida regional director since 2013.

MICHAEL D. HARTLINE has been named dean of the College of Business at Florida State University. Hartline joined the college's faculty in 2001 and has served as interim dean since July. 

VITO SHEELEY has been named outreach director for Democrat Charlie Crist's congressional campaign. Sheeley has coordinated outreach for U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, D-Fla.

MARUCHI AZORIN has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Commission on the Status of Women. Azorin, of Tampa, is president and owner of Villa Rosa Distinctive Linens.

KENDRAL "WAYNE" ADKISSON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Humanities Council. Adkisson, of Pensacola, is a physician with Gastroenterology Associates of Pensacola.

REBECCA “BECKI” FORSELL, PHILLIP STEVENS, ROBIN TELLEZ, MARION HART AND DAVID “MIKE” WILLINGHAM have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. Forsell, of Tampa, is executive director of Yes! of America United Inc. Stevens, of Lithia, is a division vice president for Jacobs Engineering. Tellez, of Miami, is corporate director of culture and inclusion for Baptist Health South Florida. Hart, of Tallahassee, is a retired administrator with the Florida Department of Transportation. Willingham, of Lake Placid, is executive director of the Sebring Airport Authority.

PHILLIP RUSSELL AND ELLIOT STERN have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County. Russell, of Dunedin, is a shareholder and attorney specializing in business and employment law with Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart PC. Stern, of Palm Harbor, is a former senior vice president with Raymond James Associates.
