LEONARD JOHNSON has been appointed by the state university system's Board of Governors to the University of Florida Board of Trustees. Johnson, of Dade City, is a partner at Barnett, Bolt, Kirkwood, Long & Koche Attorneys at Law, P.A. 

JOSEPH FOGG III has been appointed by the state university system's Board of Governors to the Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustees. Fogg, of Naples, previously served as chief executive officer of Westbury Partners.

MICHAEL HANSEN has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission. Hansen, of Crawfordville, is chief executive officer and president of the Florida Council on Community Mental Health.

PAUL RUNK has been named interim director of the Office of Legislative Planning at the Florida Department of Health. Runk has served as deputy director of the Office of Legislative Planning since 2013 and previously worked as senior legislative assistant for state Sen. Alan Hays, R-Umatilla.

RITA BARRETO CRAIG has been appointed by state Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater to the Commission on the Status of Women. Craig is president and founder of Top Tier Leadership.

JEFFREY E. LEWIS, ITA M. NEYMOTIN, EUGENE F. ZENOBI, ANTONY P. RYAN AND JEFFREY D. DEEN have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott as Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsels. Lewis, of Pensacola, has served as regional counsel in the First Region since 2007. Neymotin, of Fort Myers, has served as regional counsel in the Second Region since 2011. Zenobi, of Miami, has served as regional counsel in the Third Region since 2011. Ryan, of Riviera Beach, has served as regional counsel in the Fourth Region since 2011. Deen, of Oviedo, has served as regional counsel in the Fifth Region since 2007.

JOHN GRIFFIN has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Optometry. Griffin, of Tallahassee, is a retired attorney.

YVETTE MCCARTER, CARLEEN VAN SICLEN AND BEATRIZ MONTOYA have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel. McCarter, of Jacksonville, is director of clinical microbiology at UF Health Jacksonville College of Medicine. Van Siclen, of Jacksonville, is a laboratory education coordinator with Mayo Clinic. Montoya, of Hollywood, is a medical technologist at Memorial Regional Hospital South.

MICHELINO NIBALDI, ANTONETT MUNCHALFEN AND WILLIAM GILBERT have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Barbers' Board. Nibaldi, of Tavernier, is the master barber at Ocean Reef Club. Munchalfen, of Tampa, is a barber instructor for the Hillsborough County school district. Gilbert, of Tallahassee, is a self-employed barber with Executive Haircare.

RUBAN ROBERTS has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention State Advisory Group. Roberts, of Miami Gardens, is chief executive officer of RER Consulting.
 
HESTON HICKS was appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Campbellton-Graceville Hospital Corporation. Hicks, of Graceville, is president of Advanced Logistics Services and an adjunct professor at Harrison College.
