JASON BRODEUR has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Government Efficiency Task Force. Brodeur, of Sanford, represents District 28 in the Florida House and is president and CEO of the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

MILO "SCOTT" THOMAS has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as chairman of the Florida Elections Commission. Thomas, of Ponte Vedra Beach, is an attorney with Rogers Towers P.A.

EDWARD E. BURR has been elected as chairman of the Florida State University Board of Trustees. Burr, who has served as a trustee since 2011, is president and CEO of GreenPointe Holdings of Jacksonville.

JAMIE MONGIOVI, KATIE NORRIS AND MEREDITH HINSHELWOOD have been named to new roles at the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. Mongiovi, who has been the office's communications director, will serve as director of the Office of Communications and Governmental Relations. Norris, who has been a public information specialist, will serve as deputy director of communications. Hinshelwood, who has worked in the Division of Financial Institutions, will serve as deputy director of legislative and Cabinet affairs.

AARON KELLER has been named press secretary at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Keller most recently served as deputy press secretary and previously held positions at the Department of Health and CoreMessage, Inc.

ERIN GILLESPIE has been named director of communications and external affairs at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. Gillespie most recently served as press secretary for Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam and previously was press secretary for the Florida Department of Children and Families.

ROBERT "BOB" SNYDER has been named as the health officer for the Florida Department of Health in Flagler County. Snyder most recently has served as business manager, dental director and quality improvement coordinator for the Department of Health in Flagler County and previously worked at Orlando Health.

ANTHONY MILLER has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida State Retirement Commission. Miller, of Tallahassee, is deputy general counsel of the Florida Department of Lottery.

VINCENT COSENTINO, JOHN DOUGLAS, CHRISTINE GOULBOURNE, PATRICK CANNON, BENEDICT GRZESIK, LORI KIJANKA AND MARGARET ANN ROBINSON have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Rehabilitation Council. Cosentino, of Tampa, is a consultant with the Florida Department of Education's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Douglas, of Lake City, is a U.S. Army veteran. Goulbourne, of Trinity, is founder of Sensory Friends LLC. Cannon, of Tallahassee, is a customer service representative with the Department of Management Services. Grzesik, of Melbourne, is a virtual adjunct professor at the University of Maryland. Kijanka, of Fort Lauderdale, is principal of Excelsior Preparatory School. Robinson, of Bristol, is an intake manager with Disabilities Rights Florida.

CELESTE DOCKERY AND DAVID ARFONS have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Employee Leasing Companies. Dockery, of Lakewood Ranch, is chief executive officer of Century Employer Organization Inc. Arfons, of Palmetto, is president of Remedy Employer Services LLC.

LYNNE ROBERTS has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Athletic Training. Roberts, of Tallahassee, is a manager with Wolters Kluwer.

ROBERT MUSCO has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Information Systems Council. Musco, of Fleming Island, is chief of police in Green Cove Springs.

JOHN CANNAVA has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Electrical Contractors Licensing Board. Cannava, of Juno Beach, is president of PI Electric Inc.

REBECCA BRAGG, JOSEPH "SKIP" LYSHON, ROBERT SPAETH, STEPHEN DANZIG AND CHRISTOPHER SHAFFNER have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Boating Advisory Council. Bragg, of Arcadia, is owner and president of Canoe Outpost Peace River Inc. Lyshon, of Fort Pierce, is sales director for Maverick Boat Company. Spaeth, of Madeira Beach, is a previous owner and president of Madeira Beach Seafood. Danzig, of Ponte Vedra Beach, is a marine surveyor for Atlantic Marine Surveys. Shaffner, of Riviera Beach, is president of TowBoat U.S. and director of operations for Boatsetter.

RYAN TENNYSON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Development Finance Corporation. Tennyson, of Orlando, is vice president of Fifth Third Bank.

SHERRIE NICKELL has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Directors of the Johnnie B. Byrd Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute. Nickell, of Lakeland, is a professor at Southeastern University.

PATRICK T. HOGAN has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Directors of Florida ABLE, Inc. Hogan, of Bradenton, is managing shareholder of Hogan Legal Services.

DWAYNE MADDRON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as chairman of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention State Advisory Group. Maddron, of Tallahassee, is a portfolio manager with Capital City Trust Company.

SHARON BRYAN, STACY GROMATSKI, MICHAEL HOWARD, MERCEDES JIMENEZ RAMIREZ AND JENNIFER WALMACH have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention State Advisory Group. Bryan, of Longwood, is director of the juvenile justice division of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. Gromatski, of Tallahassee, is president and chief executive officer of the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services. Howard, of Tallahassee, is a student at Florida A&M University. Ramirez, of Cape Coral, is a certified rehabilitation counselor with the Department of Education Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Walmach, of Port St. Lucie, is a legal secretary.

YVONNE BOICE AND SUZANNE NIEDLAND have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Film and Entertainment Advisory Council. Boice, of Boca Raton, is a businesswoman with the Shoppes on 18th Street. Niedland, of Jupiter, is managing director of BusEye Films LLC.

MARCUS SMITH has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Faith-Based and Community-Based Advisory Council. Smith, of Gretna, is deputy manager of the Office for Prevention and Victim Services for the Department of Juvenile Justice and is senior pastor and president of Beulah Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

MATTHEW CARLUCCI has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Commission on Ethics. Carlucci, of Jacksonville, is a State Farm agent with Matthew F. Carlucci Insurance Agency Inc.

JOHN TOMLIN has been selected as chairman of the Visit Florida Board of Directors. Tomlin recently retired as chief operating officer for the Auto Club Group.

RONALD A. BRISE has been elected president of the Southeastern Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners. Brise is a member of the Florida Public Service Commission and previously served in the state House.

SAMIRA BECKWITH, DOREEN CASSARINO AND BARBARA WILLIAMS have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Center for Nursing Board of Directors. Beckwith, of Fort Myers, is president and chief executive officer of Hope Hospice and Community Services Inc. Cassarino, of Naples, is an advanced registered nurse practitioner at Millennium Physician Group. Williams, of Vero Beach, is a clinical psychologist and advanced psychiatric nurse practitioner at Mind Health.

MARTY FIORENTINO AND KELLY LAYMAN have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Gubernatorial Fellows Board of Directors. Fiorentino, of Jacksonville, is president of The Fiorentino Group. Layman, of Tallahassee, is in strategic growth planning with the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.
