ELAINE BLOOM has been named president and chief executive officer of Plaza Health Network. Bloom served in the Florida House from 1974 to 1978 and from 1986 to 2000.

MARK FITZGERALD, MICHAEL CALHOUN, BARBARA STEWART AND JOSEPH TALUTO have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Defense Support Task Force. Fitzgerald, of Fleming Island, is president of Aragosto Global LLC and is a retired admiral with the U.S. Navy. Calhoun, of Lake Worth, is adjutant general of the Florida National Guard. Stewart, of Avon Park, is the financial manager of Trippensee & Company Inc and is a former Highlands County commissioner. Taluto, of Palm Beach Gardens, is a retired adjutant general of New York.

ALLISON N. ENG-PEREZ has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Biomedical Research Advisory Council. Eng-Perez, of Key Biscayne, is a principal of enterprise risk management with the advisory practice of Deloitte and Touche.

PETER BUTLER, KENNETH FOUNTAIN AND ALLEN GINDER have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Technology Advisory Council. Butler, of Tallahassee, is director of the technology sector for National Strategies LLC. Fountain, of Pensacola, is an attorney and senior partner with Fountain Schultz & Associates. Ginder, of Jacksonville, is the public-sector director of Florida for Avaya.

MICHAEL L. ALLEN, JENNIFER SANDMAN, EDWARD GRIFFIN AND GEORGE TURNER have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission. Allen, of Lakeland, is a detention major for the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Sandman, of Royal Palm Beach, is a sergeant patrol officer with the Town of Palm Beach. Griffin, of East Palatka, is the warden of the Putnam Correctional Institution. Turner, of Brooksville, is the Brooksville police chief.

Rick Scott to the One Church, One Child Corporation Board of Directors. Anderson, of Gainesville, is chief executive officer of AAA Marketing, senior pastor of Upper Room Ministries and president and founder of People Against Violence Enterprises Inc. Davis, of Miami Gardens, is a retired probation officer for the Department of Corrections. Napper, of Winter Haven, is owner of SE Restoration. Randall, of Fleming Island, is pastor of St. Simon Baptist Church. Riley, of Pensacola, is pastor of Bethel AME Church. Studstill, of Orlando, is a child protective investigations supervisor for the Department of Children and Families. Williams, of Panama City, is senior pastor of St. Johns Baptist Church. Douglas, of West Palm Beach, is a Realtor with Century 21. Harrigan, of Pembroke Pines, is pastor of Grace Baptist Church. Henderson, of Tallahassee, is a fiscal accountability analyst with the Department of Children and Families. Lane, of Tampa, is pastor of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Patterson, of Sanford, is a retired teacher at Woodland Elementary School. Sapp, of Loxahatchee, is pastor of the Shepherd's Heart AME Church. Thomas, of Tallahassee, is a correctional service assistant consultant for the Department of Corrections and is pastor of Destiny Church of God. Wiseman, of Plant City, is pastor of Bethel Church.

ROBERTA BRANT has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Early Learning Coalition of Marion County. Brant, of Ocala, is a loan originator with Professional Mortgage Alliance.

CATHERINE CHAMBERS, MICHAEL DAVIDSON, MARGARET HUTTON, TAMMY “CHEREESE" STEWART AND PARESH "PAZ" PATEL have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Clay County Development Authority. Chambers, of Fleming Island, is senior vice president of business development for the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce. Davidson, of Fleming Island, is a business manager with Brumos Automotive. Hutton, of Orange Park, is a community volunteer. Stewart, of Clay Hill, is director of career and technical education for the Clay County School District. Patel, of Orange Park, is a self employed developer and Realtor and is chief operations officer of Client Focused Media.

TOMMIE HUDSON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Holmes County Hospital Corporation. Hudson, of Westville, is a retired school administrator.

CATHY DONNELLY, TOM P. POWERS, EMILIO BENITEZ, MARIA M. SCHNEIDER AND ANA M. VALLADARES have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Children's Services Council of Broward County. Donnelly, of Fort Lauderdale, is director of community relations at Castle Group. Powers, of Coral Springs, is a former Coral Springs commissioner and vice mayor. Benitez, of Hollywood, is president and chief executive officer of ChildNet Inc. Schneider, of Plantation, is an assistant state attorney in charge of the juvenile division for the 17th judicial circuit. Valladares, of Weston, is vice president of Design Nuovo Inc.

LENA LOFTON AND JAMES SCHNORBUS have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Columbia County Housing Authority. Lofton, of Lake City, is a retired correctional counselor for Miami-Dade Corrections. Schnorbus, of Lake City, is a retired criminal investigator for U.S. Customs.

TIOMBE BISA KENDRICK-DUNN, EVELINE PIERRE AND LILEANA DE MOYA have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Children's Trust Governing Board of Miami-Dade. Kendrick-Dunn, of Miami, is a school psychologist for the Miami-Dade County School Board. Pierre, of Miami, is founder and executive director of the First Haitian Heritage Museum. De Moya, of Coral Gables, is president and chief executive officer of the De Moya Foundation.

CLIFTON N. TIMMERMAN has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Hardee County Housing Authority. Timmerman, of Wauchula, is an optometrist with Sevigny Timmerman Eye Center.

LAURA BRENNAMAN has been named policy and research director for Florida CHAIN. Brennaman has been a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Nursing and Health Policy Fellow with the College of Nursing at the University of New Mexico and a Jonas Foundation Health Policy Scholar with the American Academy of Nursing.

QUINTIN KENDALL, LEE SANDLER, JOHN MEDINA AND SYDNEY KITSON have been named Florida Chamber of Commerce regional board chairs. Kendall, who was named the Northeast Florida regional board chair, is vice president of state government and community affairs at CSX Transportation. Sandler, who was named the Miami Dade/Monroe County regional board chair, is a founding member of Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A. Medina, who was named the Tallahassee regional board chair, is president, investments and insurance, of First Commerce Credit Union. Kitson, who was named the Southwest Florida regional board chair, is chairman and CEO of Kitson & Partners.
