BRENT SEMBLER has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida State University Board of Trustees. Sembler, of Pinellas Park, is vice chairman of the Sembler Company.

LEWIS BEAR JR. has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the University of West Florida Board of Trustees. Bear, of Gulf Breeze, is president of the Lewis Bear Company.

JEFFREY FEINGOLD AND ROBERT RUBIN have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Atlantic University Board of Trustees. Feingold, of Delray Beach, is president and chief executive officer of MCNA Dental Plans and Dentaland Dental Centers. Rubin, of Boca Raton, is president of Rubin Wealth Advisors.

BYRON SHINN AND JORDAN ZIMMERMAN have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the University of South Florida Board of Trustees. Shinn, of Bradenton, is a certified public accountant and president of Shinn and Company LLC. Zimmerman, of Boca Raton, is founder and chairman of Zimmerman Advertising.

ROBERT STORK has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Polytechnic University Board of Trustees. Stork, of Vero Beach, is chief executive officer of Communications International Inc.

KATIE PATRONIS, RALPH ROBERSON AND JOE TANNEHILL JR. have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Gulf Coast State College Board of Trustees. Patronis, of Panama City, is a Realtor for Century 21 Ryan Realty. Roberson, of Port St. Joe, is a certified public accountant with Roberson & Associates. Tannehill Jr., of Panama City, is president and chief executive officer of Merrick Industries.

DONALD J. PAYTON has joined the lobbying firm Ballard Partners. Payton formerly served as director of governmental relations at Seminole State College.

WAYNE BERTSCH AND TAMI TORRES-FILLYAW have joined Wilson & Associates LLC, a lobbying and association-management firm. Bertsch will serve as vice president of political operations, while Torres-Fillyaw will serve as a senior communications consultant.

SKYLAR ZANDER AND MELISSA FAUSZ have joined Americans for Prosperity Florida. Zander previously worked in the Public Defender's Office in the 4th Judicial Circuit and as a legislative aide in the Florida House. Fausz previously worked as a special investigator retained by federal agencies to conduct civil investigations related to national security.

JESSE MANZANO-PLAZA has joined the consulting firm LSN Partners. Manzano-Plaza's previous positions included vice president of government and public affairs for Resorts World Miami.

JAMES TAYLOR has been named interim executive director of the newly formed Florida Technology Council.

LEONARD DILLS has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Council. Dills, of Ormond Beach, is a retired director of maintenance for Countryside Lakes Assisted Living.

JOSEPH SINDONE has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Podiatric Medicine. Sindone, of Jacksonville, is a podiatrist with UF Health Jacksonville.

LUBBY NAVARRO has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Miami-Dade County School Board. Navarro, of Miami, most recently served as executive director of intergovernmental affairs for the Miami-Dade public schools.

PAT LANGFORD has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as Hendry County tax collector. Langford, of LaBelle, has served as a Hendry County School Board member and was co-owner of Langford Ford from 1975 to 2014.

DONALD ESLINGER has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Information Systems Council. Eslinger, of Lake Mary, is the Seminole County sheriff.

BELLE BEAR has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Governor’s Mansion Commission. Bear, of Gulf Breeze, is a community volunteer.

MARC SARNOFF AND PERLA HANTMAN have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Metropolitan Planning Organization of Miami-Dade County. Sarnoff, of Coconut Grove, is an attorney with Marc David Sarnoff P.A., and a Miami city commissioner. Hantman, of Miami Lakes, is the chairwoman of the Miami-Dade County School Board.

RONALD FOREMAN has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Lake Shore Hospital Authority of Columbia County. Foreman, of Lake City, is an optometrist with North Florida Eye Care.

MAGDA AYALA, PATRICIA GOODNIGHT AND BONNIE KEEN have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Immokalee Water and Sewer District. Ayala, of Immokalee, is interim director for Imbiz. Goodnight, of Immokalee, is a part-time teacher with the Collier County public schools. Keen, of Immokalee, is an independent sales director with Mary Kay.
