CAROL PROBSTFELD has been elected chairwoman of the Council of Presidents of the Florida College System. Probstfeld is president of the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota.

SEELA RAMESH has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Board of Medicine. Ramesh, of Orlando, is a gastroenterologist with The Digestive and Liver Center of Florida.

DAVID BISAILLON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Pharmacy. Bisaillon, of Bradenton, is a retired executive for International Business Machines Corp.

DARICA SMITH has been named by Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam as director of marketing for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Smith most recently has worked as the department's assistant director of administration and chief of personnel.

JULIE BROWN has been elected to the Nuclear Waste Strategy Coalition Executive Committee. Brown, an attorney, has served on the Florida Public Service Commission since 2011.

ANDREA MINYARD, DAVID STEWART, JON THOGMARTIN AND BARBARA WOLF have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott as district medical examiners. Minyard, of Gulf Breeze, is chief medical examiner of District 1, which includes Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton counties. Stewart, of Tallahassee, is chief medical examiner of District 2, which includes Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Taylor and Wakulla counties. Thogmartin, of Oldsmar, is chief medical examiner of District 6, which includes Pasco and Pinellas counties. Wolf, of Lake County, is chief medical examiner of District 5, which includes Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion and Sumter counties.

BARBARA WOLF AND ANGELA COREY have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Medical Examiners Commission. Wolf, of Lake County, is chief medical examiner of District 5, which includes Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion and Sumter counties. Corey, of Jacksonville, is state attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit, which includes Duval, Clay and Nassau counties.

ADRIAN COOKSEY WILSON has been named administrator for the Florida Department of Health in Gadsden County. Wilson has served since 2014 as the STD and Viral Hepatitis Program administrator for the state Department of Health.

ULYEE CHOE has been named as director for the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County. Choe, a physician, has served since May 2013 as director of the state Department of Health in Polk County.

ANN MARIE MCCRYSTAL has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Indian River County Hospital District Board of Trustees. McCrystal, of Vero Beach, served as chief administrator of the Indian River Urology Association from 1966 to 2009.

WILLIAM R. GIFFING JR. has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Early Learning Coalition of Lake County. Giffing, of Eustis, is a financial adviser with Wells Fargo Advisors.
