TIM CERIO has joined the law firm GrayRobinson. Cerio most recently served as Gov. Rick Scott's general counsel after earlier working for GrayRobinson and as chief of staff and general counsel for the Florida Department of Health.

CHRIS ALTENBERND has joined the law firm Carlton Fields. Altenbernd, who will work in the firm's Tampa office, served 27 years as a judge on the 2nd District Court of Appeal.

JENNIFER TSCHETTER has joined the Hopping Green & Sams law firm in an of counsel capacity. Tschetter most recently worked at the Florida Department of Health, where she held positions including general counsel, chief of staff and chief operating officer.

MORTEZA "MORI" HOSSEINI has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the University of Florida Board of Trustees. Hosseini, of Daytona Beach, is chairman and chief executive officer of ICI Homes and is a past chairman of the state university system's Board of Governors.

STUART WILLIAMS has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the 2nd Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Williams, of Tallahassee, has been general counsel for the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration since 2012.

HERBIE THIELE AND DREW PIERS have been promoted to new positions at Sachs Media Group. Thiele will serve as vice president/director of public affairs, while Piers will be deputy director of public affairs.

JULIE WRAITHMELL has been promoted to deputy executive director of Audubon Florida. Wraithmell has served as Audubon Florida's director of wildlife conservation.

MATTHEW BROOKS has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Workers' Compensation Insurance Guaranty Association Board of Directors. Brooks, of Miami Beach, is assistant general counsel for Phoenix American Warranty Corporation Co

WILLIAM "BUCK" BURNEY has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Clay County Commission. Burney, of Keystone Heights, is president of Mission: On Target and served 30 years in the Florida Air National Guard.

FRANCISCO "FRANK" BANGO, ANDREW CLARK, POWELL HELM AND JEAN ANDERSON have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Funeral, Cemetery, and Consumer Services. Bango, of Miami, is chief executive officer of Miami Memorial LLC. Clark, of Ocala, is operations manager, funeral director and embalmer for Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services. Helm, of Bradenton, is president and manager of Helm Vault Services, Inc. Anderson, of Tallahassee, is retired from the state.

ROBERT ATKINS, PHILIP DUR, DAVID CHILDS, TODD REBOL, MICHAEL "DEAN" SHULER AND HANS WILSON have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Boating Advisory Council. Atkins, of Merritt Island, is a retired senior manager for Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co. Dur, of Destin, retired in 2005 as a vice president of the Northrop Grumman Corp. and president of Northrop Grumman Ship Systems and previously served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1995. Childs, of Tallahassee, is a shareholder with Hopping Green and Sams PA and legal counsel for the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Rebol, of Punta Gorda, is a principal engineer with Banks Engineering and vice president of BEI Engineering Group Inc. Shuler, of Lake Park, is president and owner of Pura Vida Divers. Wilson, of Fort Myers, is a professional engineer with Hans Wilson and Associates
