TAMELA "TAMMY" PERDUE has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Workers' Compensation Three-Member Panel. Perdue, of Tallahassee, is general counsel for Associated Industries of Florida.

DENVER STUTLER will serve as chairman of Floridians for Better Transportation. Stutler is chief executive officer of Polston Applied Technologies, LLC, and previously served as secretary of the Florida Department of Transportation.

WALTER GRAHAM has been appointed by Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater as director of the newly established state Division of Unclaimed Property. Graham has served as unclaimed property administrator.

MAGGIE MICKLER AND LAQUISHA PERSAK have been named to positions at the Department of Management Services and the Florida Senate. Mickler, who has been press secretary in the Senate Majority Office, will serve as communications director at the Department of Management Services. Persak has been named press secretary in the Senate Majority Office.

R. LEE SMITH has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as a judge in the 7th Judicial Circuit, which includes St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler and Volusia counties. Smith, of Ponte Vedra Beach, has served as an assistant state attorney and chief of the traffic homicide division for the 4th Judicial Circuit since 2009.

LISA LEWIS has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott as Volusia County supervisor of elections. Lewis, of DeLand has served as the county's deputy supervisor of elections.

LINDA ROBISON has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners. Robison, of Pompano Beach, is a partner with Shutts & Bowen LLP and previously chaired the Florida Commission on Ethics.

SHANE ABBOTT has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Northwest Florida State College District Board of Trustees. Abbott, of DeFuniak Springs, is co-owner of The Prescription Place of DeFuniak Springs and Niceville.

TAYLOR ABEL, HARVEY JONES AND KEVIN PETERS have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the State Emergency Response Commission. Abel, of Tampa, is a senior manager of environmental health and safety with Mosaic. Jones, of Tallahassee, is an operations review specialist with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Peters, of Tallahassee, is emergency management director for the Leon County Sheriff's Office Division of Emergency Management.

AIDA BAO-GARCIGA, JOHN EHRIG AND MIGUEL RODRIGUEZ have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Architecture and Interior Design. Bao-Garciga, of Miami, is an interior designer and chief of design for Miami International Airport. Ehrig, of Orlando, is an architect and vice president of HHCP Architects, Inc. Rodriguez, of Coral Gables, is an architect and owner of Rodriguez Architects, Inc.

JAMES WATSON has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Athletic Training. Watson, of Tallahassee, is director and coordinator for the community outreach program at Tallahassee Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy.

FRAN POPPELL AND JARED SUTHERLAND have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Cosmetology. Poppell, of Tallahassee, is a retired wedding director and bridal consultant. Sutherland, of Cape Coral, is a stylist and owner of Salon J.

BYRON SHANNON AND RICHARD WILLIAMS have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Opticianry. Shannon, of Ocala, is an optician with Superior Optical Labs. Williams, of Panama City, is an optician with Sam's Vision Center.

KENNETH TODD AND VIVIAN BOZA have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Professional Engineers. Todd, of West Palm Beach, is a civil engineer and water resource manager for Palm Beach County. Boza, of Gainesville, is controller of Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc.

DONNA HOWERTON has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Central Florida Regional Planning Council. Howerton, of Sebring, is vice president of South Ridge Abstract.

LORENE J. THOMAS has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the North Central Florida Regional Planning Council. Thomas, of Old Town, is a retired real estate broker.

HELGA VAN ECKERT, JAMES "JIMMY" JOHNS AND JOHN DREW have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Northeast Florida Regional Planning Council. Van Eckert, of Palm Coast, is executive director of the Flagler County Department of Economic Opportunity. Johns, of Saint Johns, is president of Solid Rock Engineering Consultants, Inc. Drew, of Yulee, is the Nassau County tax collector.

THOMAS KINCHEN has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Commission for Independent Education. Kinchen, of Graceville, is president of the Baptist College of Florida.

WILLIAM "BRIAN" CATHEY has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Construction Industry Licensing Board. Cathey, of Port St. Joe, is a general contractor and president of Cathey Construction and Development.

NATALIA MARTINEZ AND GENEAN MCKINNON have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Commission on Community Service (Volunteer Florida). Martinez, of Pembroke Pines, is a previous chief innovation and technology officer for Roots of Hope. McKinnon, of Winter Park, is president of McKinnon Associates Inc.
