Florida Chamber gives boost to Scott committee

Gov. Rick Scott's "Let's Get to Work" political committee got an injection of $225,000 last week from a Florida Chamber of Commerce PAC and two major corporate players, according to the committee's website. The Chamber of Commerce PAC contributed $150,000, while TECO Energy added $50,000 and the health insurer Florida Blue chipped in $25,000. In late January, the Chamber of Commerce PAC also contributed $100,000 and Florida Blue added $50,000. "Let's Get to Work" has played a critical role in Scott's gubernatorial campaigns and in touting his policy priorities.
