BHAG Roundtable Discussions Announced for the
2014 Sayfie Review Florida Leaders Summit
On December 4th and 5th, Florida’s top business, government, news media, non-profit and academic leaders will converge in Orlando for the second annual Sayfie Review Florida Leaders Summit. At the Summit, Florida’s leaders will consider and discuss the most impactful ideas, issues and trends facing our state.
At the 2013 Summit, attendees participated in discussion groups that identified Big Hairy Audacious Goals for Florida – BHAG’s. A BHAG is a statement that is created to focus and energize an organization on a single compelling goal.
At the 2014 Summit, attendees will once again participate in interactive BHAG roundtable discussions. In their roundtable discussion groups, Summit attendees will identify the action items necessary to achieve BHAG’s identified at the 2013 Summit.
The BHAG action items for the discussion roundtables at the 2014 Summit will be in the following issue areas:
K-12
Higher Education
Health
Water
Energy
Tourism
Transportation
The Sayfie Review Summit is Florida’s invitation-only, non-partisan event for the state’s top leaders, modeled after the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The 2014 Summit is being held after the November elections to give Florida's leaders an opportunity to convene with each other in a unique, post-election, pre-inauguration venue.
Summit attendees were recently mailed their printed personal, non-transferable invitations.
